The denser the object, the more time in takes to complete. This was a beast! The outcome was well worth it though. Wear sunglasses if viewed in daylight. Sparkle factor is off the charts!

Tres Magnifique!

You don’t have to go with a monogram cake topper to get some Swarovski crystal goodness into your cake! This custom cake topper was for a couple getting married in a pumpkin patch on Halloween. How original! It was the brides idea to give ‘her’ pumpkin some lipstick: too cute.
The outcome:

Wishing you safe travels this holiday season.

Think cake jewelry. This cake achieved maximum sparkle without even having a topper! The branches on the cake were crystallized and matched the look of the invitations. Loose Swarovski stones in a coordinating color (Rose) were also used on the cake to extend the crystal theme. A whimsy, sparkling outcome for one lucky girl!

Contrast is everything! Contrasting letters works best when keeping the color set on each letter low in contrast so the letters stand out from each other. If the colors get too busy, the effect is lost. Nobody wants an illegible monogram cake topper. Here, not only do the colors offset each other but the fonts do, too. I love pairing a feminine font with a bold masculine font.
