Crystallized – Swarovski Elements™ is the product brand for loose precision-cut crystal manufactured by Swarovski and The Little White Book is a collection of designers, companies, and brand name products that use these elements in their designs.  The booklet was released by Swarovski as a resource to help create a personalized crystal wedding.

The Little White Book launched in the winter issue of Elegant Bride magazine and features some of the most recognized designers in the world (Ron Ben-Israel, Colin Cowie, David Tutera, Diane von Furstenberg).  Toppers With Glitz is proud to be included and is listed under “Paper, Gifts, & Decor”.

In its inaugural year, the Bride’s Choice Awards recognizes and honors vendors from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility. This year’s recipients represent the top three percent of WeddingWire’s vendor community, which includes over 100,000 wedding vendors from across the US.

Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds through surveys and reviews.  I am honored to receive such an award and would like to thank my past clients for speaking on my behalf  to help me achieve the 2009 Bride’s Choice Award!

A good way to maximize sparkle with a warmer color palette of browns and earth tones, where the stark “whiteness” of Crystal may not blend in as well, is to consider using “Silk” instead. Silk is softer – the whiteness is toned down but it still catches a lot of light. It’s tough to tell Silk from Crystal in a photograph so you are going to accomplish a neutral look regardless but Silk may “go” with your other decor better than Crystal would.

Even those of us from LA get a little star struck sometimes. It happens to the best of us. I can’t help but be excited about this monogram cake topper because it was my very first celebrity topper. I can’t say exactly who it was made for but I will mention that it was for the guest of honor at this sports celebrities bash.

Toppers With Glitz gets its big break! Equalaris Productions contacted me about creating a crystal monogram cake topper for their 2008 project, “Cordially Invited”. It wrapped at the end of 2007 and was chosen as an official selection at the Pan African Film Festival in February 2008. Way to go! I couldn’t make it to the LA premier but how excited was I to get invited to a Premier!? I can’t wait to see the movie (and our sparkling contribution).
