simple shape or pre-designed logo can generally be turned into a unique topper for your event. There are a few limitations that need to be considered, though. Because the topper will be freestanding, the shape or design needs to be completely connected. For example, eyes on animals are usually meant to float in the head, which wouldn't work for this kind of topper. The topper will be inserted into the cake with toothpick-like prongs at the bottom, so the weight distribution matters. If there's too much weight off-center from where it attaches to the cake it may tip over. And finally, because of crystal sizes, extremely intricate details may blend together after crystals are applied which is why simple shapes come out best. This page was designed to capture the most frequently used examples, but it is by no means comprehensive.
